Leola Area Food Bank, housed within Forest Hills Mennonite Church, is an outreach of the Leola Ministerium of Churches.
The Food Bank has been serving local families in need since 1991. Client referrals come from local pastors, schools and the Community Action Program (CAP). During fiscal year 2007, 61 different families were served by Food Bank volunteers. There is a consistent, year-round need for donations. Community support comes from local churches, area businesses (such as Giant Foods & Curves), the Post Office, Boy Scouts and donations from individuals. Your non-perishable food items or cash contributions are always appreciated. (Money is used to purchase meats and frozen items.) Donations may be dropped off in the Food Bank whenever the church is open. Thank you for caring for your neighbors in need!
Please direct any questions or suggestions to the Food Bank Coordinator.
