Senior Pastor - Chuck Goertz |
 Chuck Goertz joined the Forest Hills team in January 2009. He has served as a pastor for 25 years, most recently in the Miami, Florida area. He has a passion to teach and preach the Bible and help people follow Jesus in life. Chuck grew up in Europe and brings a wealth of experience, having pastored two multi-cultural congregations. Among his leisure time interests are reading, cooking, cycling, scuba diving, and Cornhusker football. Chuck and his wife Bev have three young adult children.

Becky Degan - Worship and Music Director |

 Becky is a graduate of Elizabethtown College (Pa.) with a bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy. Before coming to Forest Hills in 2006, she worked for eight years as a music therapist for children with special needs. Becky is married with one son. She and her husband perform original music for children at local venues and have released two CD's of original children's music. They have also worked on several projects with Herald Press, including the children’s CD Sing, Little Children, Sing and the book The Family Song.

Cheryl Hollinger - Spiritual Formation and Nurture Director |

 Cheryl received her degree in Early Childhood Education from Eastern Mennonite University (Va.) and taught school in Virginia. Along with her family, she spent 11 years as a Church Development Worker in Wales, UK before coming to Forest Hills in 2006. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in church leadership. In her free time she enjoys long walks, creative writing and good books. She is married and the mother of three young adult sons.

Don Nelson - Youth and Young Adult Director |

 Don has been a member of Forest Hills Mennonite Church since 1993. He has served the church as a youth leader for ten plus years, first as a volunteer and now as a part-time staff member. His clear calling to youth ministry has been evident to the youth and to the congregation. After selling a woodworking business he owned and managed, he began doing cabinetry installations as an independent contractor. Don is married and the father of three young adult children.

Norma Stauffer - Administrator |

 Norma has been a member of the Forest Hills congregation for over 25 years. She joined the team as Administrator in 2000, after working 25 years in commercial finance. Norma's organizational skills and years of experience as a volunteer in a variety of congregational ministries effectively prepared her to step into this role. On a regular basis she also offers her gifts to the music ministry at Forest Hills. In her free time she enjoys biking, reading, and good conversation with friends. She is married and the mother of two young adult children.
