Atlantic Coast Conference |
Atlantic Coast Conference, of which Forest Hills is a member, is supported through our church budget. In the fall, we collect money for Nickels for Neighbors, an annual project that supports one of our conference sister churches. Through ACC we also donate bags of groceries for distribution to needy families each fall.

The Open Door Youth Center welcomes youth of all ages from the community to enjoy games, sports activities, inspiration and food every Tuesday evening at their location in the Keystone Court on Route 23 in Leola. The goal of ODYC is to build strong relationships with the youth in the Conestoga Valley School District, to give them a safe and fun place to hangout, and through the example of adult staff and mentors, to provide them with a living example of who Jesus is. Numerous persons from Forest Hills serve in administrative roles or volunteer regularly at ODYC. More volunteers are always welcomed! |

Our Resettlement Ministry provides assistance to persons with refugee status who are immigrating to the Lancaster area. Under the supervision of PRIME, a local affiliate of Church World Service, Forest Hills has been involved in supporting families from Russia and Ukraine and three young men from Sudan. Persons in the congregation served in a variety of ways that built friendships and helped these newcomers adapt to life in the United States. |

The mission of MOMS (Morning Out for MomS) is to provide friendship and support in a nurturing environment for mothers and their children in our church and the surrounding community. MOMS provides an interesting program for mothers while children, infant through kindergarten, are in nursery and classrooms. MOMS generally meets every Tuesday, except the first Tuesday of the month from September through April. The program begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 10:30 a.m. For questions about the MOMS program or for a complete schedule of speakers and events, contact the church office. |

Through the Leola Homes of Hope, Forest Hills is currently involved with other churches in the Leola Ministerium in providing a house to address emergency housing needs in our area. The first house in Leola is completed, and several families have already called it home for a short period of time. |

The Leola Food Bank is located in the Forest Hills church building. Support comes from the community and other churches of the Leola Ministerium. Individuals may contribute food, money or time to help process the food. The congregation provides assistance each fall when the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts use the church as a collection and distribution center for their local food drive. |
