19th Annual Community Halloween Alternative

Thursday, October 31, 2019
6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Looking for an alternative to the traditional ghosts and goblins on Halloween? Forest Hills Mennonite Church, 100 Quarry Road in Leola, invites children and families in the community to enjoy a fun night of activities at the church on Thursday, October 31, from 6-8 p.m. This annual Halloween Alternative, geared for children up through sixth grade, is free and open to everyone in the community. A parent or adult must accompany all participating children.

The evening will feature a dress-up photo booth, bounce house, cardboard box maze, lots of carnival-style games, wagon rides, and crafts for the children. There will also be a pie-eating contest. Participants will enjoy homemade soft pretzels, and each child will be given a bag of treats to take home. This is not a costume event. Come just as you are, and enjoy this positive alternative to the traditional trick-or-treat hoopla.
